IMPORTANT NOTES:
[I] The new functional classification of the FBJJP aims to universalize the categories of ParaJiu-Jitsu worldwide. [II] All new categories present numbered subclasses where subcategory 1 (one) refers to the most severe form of the disability contemplated in that category. [III] Categories where there are no subdivisions are also designated with the numeral 1 (one). In this way, future updates should be included in the sequence (2, 3, 4, etc). [IV] Letters of the alphabet that have not been used in this version are reserved in the sequence for possible future updates. [V] During the transition period to the new FBJJP functional classification, two pieces of information must be shared with users for educational purposes: 'Phonetic Analogy' refers to the English phoneme used for association with the new nomenclature, such as Amputee for Class A and Blind for Class B. 'Former Class' refers to the nomenclature used until 2021 to designate the functional classification of the category in question.
